Suggested Messaging for High School Safety Fundraiser
The following is a message that participating Administrators can use to let their community members know how to join in the Umergency/In One Instant high school safety fundraiser. It’s easy to cut and paste into an email.
Our High School Safety Fundraiser
Dear Parents,
Our school is participating in a fantastic fundraiser with a highly respected safety organization and I want to share the opportunity with you.
The national In One Instant teen safe driving program is sponsoring this fundraiser with their health and safety app, Umergency. It prepares and connects high school and college students and their families with the resources they need to navigate through any emergency situation–anytime, anywhere.
This award-winning app is always offered free to students and for a nominal fee to parents.
Participating schools will receive a donation of 30% of app subscriptions. This can amount to over $5,000 for every 100 parents who sign up. Recently, a participating organization has already received over $14,000.
All you have to do is download the app from the App Store or Google Play and our school will start benefiting from sales.
